Introducing Background Basics III and Big Notes in French

Today, we are sharing with you Background Basics III and Big Notes in French!

My first card features three new sets, Background Basics II & III and Big Notes in French. All my patterned paper comes from these new sets! I love the look of each one of them!

“Tu me manques” in French is I miss you! I also added a White Curly flower to my homemade banner.

For the border, I pleated the scallop border crochet trim and then added two layers of paper over the top. For a final layer, which is hard to see, I added a strip of IBS Crochet Tape also.

My 2nd card today is a CAS card using my own homemade paper again! I used our featured set today and the new Fancy Labels 2 set and die! More information on those tomorrow!

After using our background stamps, I randomly cut the paper to create two different layers and distressed the edges. In this photo, you can see that I lifted everything up on foam dimensionals!

To keep this card simple, I just glued on a couple of IBS flowers that can be found in our Mixed Flowers packages. We also add these in our free gift to you as a way to say thank you for your order.

I love love love my 3rd card! I stamped the music background on Kraft paper and then embossed the white to make it pop with color! I love the effect!

This sweet label is from our New Fancy Labels 2 set featured tomorrow! I then added some Sage Seam Binding Ribbon and brad for my bow.

For my flower, I created a Satin Flower, click here for the video, using some IBS Rosewood Satin Ribbon. I then added this rhinestone brad and some Little Leaves.

My last project for today is this beautiful canvas that I created using different dies, flowers and ribbon.

Remember those extra rolled flowers that I mentioned yesterday? I used them on today’s project. I also added some Inspired by Stamping Roses and Off White Flowers.

Here is a close up of my sentiment that comes from the Big Hope stamp set. I grabbed some distressed ink to stamp my writing in the background and stamped over it with my “Faith” sentiment.
